Robert J. Mancinelli joined Steven R. Rubenstein, Lawrence N. Meyerson and Anne M. Fox in mid 2007 after more than two decades as a successful commercial attorney and corporate officer. Throughout his career he has focused on corporate law, commercial transactional law, employment and employee benefits law, as well as land use and real estate matters. For more than a decade he served as General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer of one of the nation’s largest travel management companies. Over the last 12 years he has served as Counsel to the Woodbridge (N.J.) Township Insurance Commission. He is well known for expertise in insurance defense litigation and defending public- and private-sector employers in employee and employment claims matters. He also has assisted and advised municipalities in creating and sustaining self-insurance programs for their workforces. Mr. Mancinelli is generally recognized as a premier land use attorney. He has extensive experience in real estate development, including applications for variances, site plan approvals and subdivision approvals. For several years he was a partner of the firm Carver & Mancinelli of Westwood, N.J. Mr. Mancinelli is a lifelong resident of the Pascack Valley.
